I am a self-proclaimed non-nature photographer. I just don't find it all that inspiring. I like to capture people. But, there is an exception to any rule I suppose because I am truly enamored by these darn little cherry blossoms. Could it be because they are PINK?
Khyati & Jordan ENGAGED!
The cherry blossoms have arrived and the weather cooperated for a fun afternoon photo session with Khyati & Jordan. He proposed at the base of the Lincoln memorial so we revisited the exact spot to capture some shots. Only four more months until they tie the knot!
Teshia, DJ & Xavier...welcoming spring with some family photos
What an absolutely wonderful first day of Spring. I feel like I have been cooped up for months in my apartment so I was thrilled when I saw the forecast for my photoshoot with Teshia and her sons. Sunny skies and highs in the 70's! Now, to be fair, the boys were a tid bit chilly in short sleeve shirts at 9am but hey, they look great so it paid off, right?!? They were very good sports! Matt and I dusted off our bicycles and met them at the Lincoln Memorial before the tourist rush. Great location, great models, (and a great assistant who patiently waited and watched the bikes and then took me to Georgetown for lunch) = great day.
The long awaited pics...Shanon!
This weekend I had the chance to work with Shanon who is a beautiful, young model. I'm sure we will be seeing more of her!
Antonette...and a few of the family, too!
Antonette is a budding photographer just like me! Check her out at: http://antonettedimaiwat.com/blog/
